Rehoboth Beach has been nicknamed “The Nation’s Summer Capital”, and lives up to its name in culture and amenities.  The population increases to well over 100,000 in the summer season, and is “home away from home” for thousands of international students who have chosen this town as their summer home.  Whether you enjoy shopping, eating, walking, exploring or relaxing, you can find it all here.

The mile long boardwalk, running alongside the white beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, boasts shops, restaurants, arcades, miniature golf, and a small amusement park, Funland.  The main street, Rehoboth Avenue, offers over 6 blocks of casual & family-friendly to romantic & fine dining restaurants, souvenir to boutique shops, art galleries, book stores, and bicycle rental shops.  There are also plenty of additional shops and restaurants on adjacent streets.  The bandstand offers nightly entertainment during the summer season, and you can spot hand painted dolphin statues, the Rehoboth Beach mascot, on random street corners.  Rehoboth also offers an energetic night life, and you can choose to spend your time at dozens of bars and restaurants.  Of course, you can also take the Jolley Trolley to Dewey Beach for even more nightlife and entertainment.

If you are looking to do some serious shopping, be sure to visit the Tanger Outlet Centers, where you can shop at over 130 brand name stores divided among three separate centers.  Be sure to check out the Customer Service Center to purchase a coupon book!  Enjoy nature?  Then make sure you visit the Cape Henlopen State Park at Gordon’s Pond.  Here you will find old lookout towers used during World War II and a walking trail, known as the American Discovery Trail, where you can bask in the beautiful surroundings of the nature reserve – don’t be surprised if you spot a deer or other wildlife!

Rehoboth Beach is also host to several popular festivals throughout the year that draw large crowds of locals and visitors.  These festivals include the Sea Witch Festival, The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and the Autumn Jazz Festival.  The town also participates in the annual May sidewalk sale, which draws thousands of visitors each year.  Of course, these are just a few of the many wonderful amenities and attractions the town has to offer.

If you are thinking about calling this place home, you will be pleased to learn there is a large selection of properties to choose from.  Rentals, condominiums, town homes, retirement communities, new construction and luxury beachfront properties are available at almost every price range.

Rehoboth, together with the towns of Dewey and Bethany Beaches, Lewes and Fenwick Island  comprises Delaware’s beach/shore resort area, and is Sussex County’s fastest growing area.
